We love to sell…

There’s really not a cut and dry list of brands or designers that we are looking to sell (if only it was that simple!). Rather than an exact science, think of it more as a flow chart. It’s called a consignment process because it really is just that!  But in general:

  • We choose what to accept based on a combination of brand, value, fabric, style, condition, customer demand and store capacity.

  • We will intake women’s clothing and footwear that could be categorized as contemporary brands, “silent luxury” garments and accessories, and modern vintage pieces (however, we do not prioritize or specialize in traditional vintage).

  • Think about designers you might see at higher end department stores like Bloomingdales, Nordstrom, Saks, Neiman Marcus, or online sites like Aritzia, FARFETCH, NET-A-PORTER, ShopBop, Tuckernuck,  REVOLVE. Think, flagship stores you may see on Newbury Street!

  • Our favorite fabrics are linens, silks, organic cottons, wool, leather, cashmere, and recycled textiles.

  • Though there may be the occasional exception, we are reluctant to accept ‘fast fashion’ or budget brands, most mall brands, outlet/diffusion lines, catalog or discount merchants. Some examples are AEO, A&F, Ann Taylor LOFT, ASOS, CHICOS, Forever21, Victoria’s Secret, GAP, Old Navy, H&M, Primark, SHEIN, Talbots, Target, TJXX/Marshalls etc. These retailers do not typically hold up in quality, wear, or resale value.

  • We will not accept counterfeit items of any kind, business attire (suits), Fur coats, formal wear, lingerie, menswear, children's clothing, toys or housewares.

Think it’s a fit?

  • We are now accepting walk-ins! Come in during business hours to have your items considered. Our current hours are Tues-Sat 10-3. If you have a considerable amount (lets say, more than you can carry with both arms!) a heads up is appreciated so we can best prepare for your visit. Send us a message online, or call 617-481-9953

  • To assist in a seamless transition from intake to the sales floor, items should be neatly placed or folded in structured shopping bags, reusable totes, bins/tubs.  Hangers are not preferred unless necessary to keep certain pieces from wrinkling. PLEASE do not bring items in plastic bags or in suitcases.
